Upcycling Cans - Using Cans As Christmas Gift Packaging Upcycle cans and turn them into decorative containers to give chocolates as a Christmas gift. Once the chocolates are eaten, the cans can be then used as pencil holders for the desk during the holidays.     Time required: about an hour (the project itself is quickly finished once the paint dries) Difficulty Level: Easy Material List to Make the Cans: - white paint and paint brush - clean cans in different sizes - washi tape in different Christmas patterns Material List to Use the Finished Cans as Packaging: - clear gift wrapping plastic - curling ribbon or ribbon of choice Instructions: 1. First paint the cans white and set them aside to dry. The advantage of painting them white is that the paint helps the washi tape look more clear and brilliant. 2. Then add the first row of washi tape to the top of the can. 3. Continue adding more rows of washi tape underneath the first row. 4.
