1. Print out the pattern given here Christmas Tree Pattern or make your own. Cut two identical trees out of fun foam.
2. Position and align both trees exactly over each other. Use a needle and poke holes through both trees. Now remove the bottom tree and poke also holes randomly in the center of the top tree. This is where the sequins will go.
3. Double the thread, insert it into the hole of the needle. Insert the needle from the backside. The loop is also on the backside.
4. Insert the needle through a sequin.
5. Now insert the needle through a bead.
5. Take the needle now and insert it back only through the sequin. Pull the thread tight towards the backside of the tree..
6. On the backside, insert the needle through the loop and pull tight. This will secure the thread so that the beads do not fall off anymore.
7. Insert the needle into a new from the backside to the front side and repeat steps 3-5 again. Continue until all of the holes are completed. Then you will align up the two trees and sew them together. Before you close off the project, insert a little bit of batting to make it puffy.
