Natural Pine Cone Wreath

Every year our trees share their abundant amount of pine cones with us. It is fun collecting some of them and using them to create lovely decorations for the holidays such as a wreath. This project is kept very simple... just pine cones sprayed slightly with white paint and a pretty natural jute red bow. Below you will find a second picture of the wreath looking very natural, which is also charming.

Pine Cone Wreath 1

Time required to make one wreath: about one hour

Difficulty Level: Easy

Material List:

- straw wreath in size of choice
- lots of small pine cones (it is good to have most the same size but also a few that are slightly smaller to be used as
  fillers)
- white spray paint if you like
- hot glue gun
- red jute ribbon for the bow
- red ribbon for hanging

Instructions for the wreath:

1. First knot a red ribbon around the wreath for hanging.

2. Simply hot glue the pine cones around the wreath, making sure to cover the sides as well.

3. Once the wreath is filled, spray a light coat of white paint onto them if you like. Other wise continue to next step.

4. Tie a red bow and hot glue to the top center of the wreath. Simple Bow Tutorial
