Instructions:
1. Paint a very thin layer of paint onto the outside of the jar and let it dry. This step is necessary, so that the paper napkin motif will be seen once it is glued onto the jar.
2. Choose the paper napkin motifs you would like to use. This particular napkin hat rows of stars and snowflakes, which were perfect for this project. Remove and discard all but the uppermost layer of the napkin.
3. Brush a thin coat of decoupage glue onto the jar. Then apply the napkin motifs onto the glue. Once adhered, paint a coat of glue gently over the napkin to seal it. Let the glue dry before continuing.
Once the glue is dry, then tie a ribbon around the jar to finish off the project.
