These ornaments look very decorative hanging on your Christmas tree. It is so easy to create these holiday ornaments out of scrapbookpaper and using a simple technique to give them the look of metal.
Time required: about 10 minutes to make and a few hours drying time for the glue and the clear gloss paint sealer
1. Cut out Christmas shapes of your choice. For each ornament you will need two. Make sure to cut the second side in reverse. 2. Place one shape with the wrong side up and add glue around the outer edge inside of the shape. Leave one area free of glue until you have added the batting. 3. Place the wrong side of the second shape onto the glue. Let the glue dry. 4. Before closing off, add the batting to stuff the ornamen some. Now close off the remaining opening by adding glue inside of the shape and pressing the edges together. 5. Punch a hole at the top of the shape and add a wire for hanging. 6. Brush on clear gloss paint sealer to both sides to add a shine to the ornament and to give it the look of metal.
