Time required: about 45 minutes

Difficulty Level: Easy to Intermediate

Material List for this Paper Window Decoration:

- 2 sheets of black construction paper
- silk paper in the following colors: red, white, orange, green, brown, yellow and purple
- stick glue
- craft knife
- scissors
- black permanent marker
- pattern

Stained Glass Paper 1
1. This tutorial is for another project. The procedure is always the same regardless of the motif. Print out your pattern so that it fits the full sheet of paper. Take this paper now and adhere it with stick glue to one sheet of black construction paper. Add a second sheet of black contruction paper and hold both layers together with paper clips.

2. Starting on the inside and working your way to the outside, cut each area out between the lines. Once all of the spaces are cut out, your picture looks like this.

3. Remove the paper clips and separate both paper layers. One is pattern side and the other being the second black sheet.

4. On the pattern side, start by adding the first color over an empty space.

5. Mark the space with your black permanent marker and then cut it out. Adhere this piece now on your picture.

7. When you turn your picture over, it looks like this on the front side. Continue in this manner until all of the spaces are covered. When finished, adhere the second design on the first with the working side (the side in which you added the colors) is sandwiched in between. Both outsides should be black. Add a hole to the top for hanging.
